If you have heard of Dan Thies you will know he developed the concept of an Index Driver in his Link Liberation course.
What Is An Index Driver?
It’s a group of site that new quality articles are added to ever single day that include links to your articles that you publish on article sites like ezine articles.com trcb.com and 1000′s of others.
Why do you need it?
If everybody is creating and publishing articles how does Google know which articles have any value (which means are worth keeping in there search index!)? Well the articles that have links to them!
Have you ever noticed that you can publish 500 articles and found only 20 t0 50 seem to show up in Google? This is because you don’t have many if any links to your articles. The index driver fixes this.
How Do You Use?
All you need to do is provide and RSS feed (I’ll tell you how in a moment) that contains all the pages your want links sending to. This can be the URL’s of each article or your youtube videos or your hub pages. Any page you would like links to.
It is very important to note that your should not put your own website pages in the index driver. Index drivers are for lining to your quality articles, hub pages, youtube videos that link to your website where you make your money.
So How Do You Create An RSS feed?
You need what Dan Thies calls a link collector. One of my favourite index collectors that Dan suggests is delicious.com the social book marketing site. All you do is sign up for a delicious account, add the firefox delicious book marking plugin and then browse to each of the pages you want to send links to and book mark it. I always suggest tagging the bookmark with the URL of the money sites and the work articles.
Then inside delicious web account you will see that you are given a private RSS feed for any group of tags you like. Grab this RSS feed and send it to us. Ever time you book mark a site it will be added into the index driver queue automatically ready to be indexed.
