Article Spinner

The article spinner allows you to take a .csv file and for each line of the file combine it with the spinner text that you enter in the top box and create unique text output in the bottom box. You can copy and past the text in the bottom box to create either another .csv file or a .txt file as needed.

Spinner Syntax

Placing { } around any content tells the spinner to look inside the content area.

Placing a bar inside the area such as {word1|word2} tells the spinner to select at random one of the inside words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs or even whole article variations!

This is a recursive activity so it can be used on as many levels as you wish. Such that {The dog ran {fast|slow} to the {mall|store}|The dog drove the {car|truck} to the {mall|store|shopping center}} will choose either the first or the second sentence then continue inside that sentence and parse the inside content.

Data Merge

Structure: {db:Column#:}

What it does: Data Merge will take a csv file in comma delimited format and use the rows as inputs within a document.

If you have a csv file with make/model/year then {db:1:} will print the make, {db:2:} will print the model, and {db:3:} will print the year.

It will attempt to spin an article for each row. If you have 50 entries of make/model/year in the csv file and attempt to spin 100 articles then you will have 2 articles for each row.

This works on any level. You can give as input a file with 5 rows and spin 50 articles, 10 articles with each row's data. It uses rows in order but this doesn't hurt anything since each article is spun randomly and not via any systematic method.
