Need Extra Income? Here Are Simple Ideas Anyone Can Do

Many Families are feeling the pinch of this bad economy. This has left many looking for part time jobs. Others are turning to the Internet to make extra money. But many find out rather quick they do not have the skills or talent to get a web page ranked high enough to earn money.

In the examples below, you'll find that many of these methods require few skills. The few skills you will need can be learned in a short amount of time. But I'm betting you already know how to turn on a computer and surf the Internet. You won't get filthy rich with these methods, but many people are learning how to make some extra income from these techniques. The good news is that you can start earning money rather quickly with most of these methods.

Even the most non-techy person out there has heard of Ebay. This is an online auction that started many people on their way of earning extra money from home. Some even have turned this into full time incomes, quitting their 9 to 5 jobs. While you may not want to turn it into your full time income producer, ebay is an excellent place to earn extra money. Chances are you have something of value laying around.

Another source of Income and products to sell at online auctions is Craigslist. The free section has been a goldmine for me. I generally find free stuff and then turn around and sell it on ebay. Sometimes you can even find real bargains on other products and sell them on ebay for a marked up price.

If selling online isn't your forte, then you can advertise your skills on Craigslist and build up a Client list. There are many people who can write articles or have special skills such as programming or in depth knowledge of programs like Excel, PowerPoint or QuickBooks.

Many small businesses have been started by people advertising their offline businesses on Craigslist and other free classified sites. Most cities of any size will have other opportunities to advertise online at either free or low cost. These sites can bring in a load of people willing to pay you for your services.

Beginning Internet entrepreneurs should be sure and research any site before signing up to work for them. Most will pay you after a job is completed. Others may wait as long as a month before they pay you. Find out up front. It's also a good idea to see what others are saying about the company. If they have a bad reputation for paying their freelancers, now is the time to find that out.

Some people are just really good with crafts. If you're one of them, then take a look at craft sites like Etsy where you can actually sell your crafts online. This is a very popular site for people looking for one of a kind gifts. You'll also see people selling their surplus crafts supplies on this site.

Don't expect to get rich quick with any of these methods, because chances are you won't. But hopefully you can make enough to keep the Wolf away from the door. Just remember, use good common sense and be patient. Sometimes it takes a while before you get the hang of making extra money on the Internet.
